Slow Motion Squash by 2 incredible players!
this farag guy is good, he should play professionally
Lot of phishing by AK. Some key some decisions were badly misjudged
Ali a great Peter Nicol level retrieving, but still a good win.
Young Mister Farag should have been foot faulted numerous times. He continually dragged his trailing foot out of the service box on both sides of the court.
You are about 8 years to late to comment this. He's now world champ, so..
@@yaboiicj94 what? When did that happen?
@@robertcameron3709 he’s been the best squash player in the world since about 2018. He won the world championships in 2019 and 2021
@@nortykid3017 too many referees don't call foot faults . In our leagues it almost always causes a bit of a furore when a foot fault is called, particularly against juniors. Farag has clearly sorted himself out, maybe as a result of being called.
Who’s here after Ali became world champion?
man if they played rn ali wud chop khalifa up 11-0
What a shame Khalifa has not continued!! He would beat the crap out of these suckers of farag and cie
Wow, that Ali Farag boy is going places
Thank you for saying it, almost 2 years after he's become world no 1.
He's been world champion for 3 years. Your comment is 1 year old. You don't keep up with the PSA do you man

How to play without a backhand level over 9000 loool
Some dubious let calls!
Crazy to think that now Ali is now world number 1 and Khalifa is an investment banker. Wonder how far Khalifa could have gone in the squash world. He was already top 50 when he was only 19. I guess everyone has a different path. Ali talks about how playing pro squash after university helped him get around being drafted into the Egyptian military, and if he wasn't drafted, he wouldn't have turned pro. Khalifa could have gone far!
I think a lot of it is down to the different body types. Farag looks like he could better the handle the pyhsicality of pro squash while Khalifa might have been more skilled while in college.
I heard Khalifa had back problems.
Khalifa is coaching in egypt
Amr should have taken his fishing rod on court with him!
Now Ali is n1. Where is khalifa at?
fishing for strokes still.
Nice to know that the PSA ranking show that Amr Khalifa did not reach any massive heights, but know that Ali Farag is World No.2
Well, he's world number 1 now so. Further reinstating my point
@@LarryMcFly Ur point is invalid because Amr Khalifa did not go pro and instead became an investment banker that makes much more money than farag
@@johnho6954 okay but my point is that farag had reached higher points than Khalifa. Regardless of money
And farag probs makes more money from the tournaments he wins than Khalifa.
To be honest amr was too 50 at 19 he could have definitely been at Ali farags level
Very useful video. Thank you!
This is a great video! Thanks :)
fantastic video thanks Mike...former Duffinch Squash Club member who remembers you playing Sabir
Anyone know where to get the full series of this?
Should be nice to watch them to play nowdays.... :-)
Ali Farag's in a different league now!
Yeah, for sure.
The other player was so annoying keep putting his hand up and that was not a stroke in the final moments he was looking for strokes most of the game.
have to say it, I loved this series of squash lessons. Very much to the point and very complete. Thank you guys, I'll be watching them again many times
Great Vid .
I can only say...thanks, thanks, thanks. So greatly demonstrated and explained!! Keep them coming.
great insight - also very respectful to the potential student - I wonder to what extent the same principle applies in handball where the upper arm rotation could be key to good effect on the ball
Brilliant and very instructive video. A little odd that Mike didn't include any footage from Jansher's or Jahangir's matches who reigned the squash rankings during the time the videos were made.
A very interesting and informative video. I've been playing fairly good local district level in Yorkshire for 'a long time' yet the drills and troubleshooting mentioned in your videos are helping me, even in my ripe old age. Many thanks :-)
Great tutorial thanks Mike!
The boast from the guy in the white... just take it out of your game...
For backhand yes, deviation vs. flexion/extension of the wrist, and forearm rotation (really pronation/supination). knuckles up, palm down. "wipe the table". Keep the lower side of the racquet frame in front of the top side, from the top of the backswing through the point of contact with the ball. Same leading edge technique for the forehand
so much tin...
So much fishing and breaks in play in the last game.
Congrats to Cesar, very well played!
Glad I found this gem. Such good squash. Too bad the guy in white hit so many errors.
Definitely a let on the last point 13;30. Ball was way behind him and farag was somewhat cleared but not in his swing. Khalifa was facing almost backwards when he tried to play that he was stroke hunting the whole game lol
Krishan Patel Totally.
I couldn't agree more
Awesome video. Thanks Mike. I am sharing this with my young team at St. Andrew's College.
13:30 stroke RLY?
+Darek Dyrtkowski Yes, Farag's ball popped out from the side wall and Khalifa was ready to play the ball while Farag was still in the way. Clear stroke. Bad luck but still a clear stroke.
+Greg Born The ball was past him. He could have got it back ( if Farag wasn't in the way ) but not to hit a winner. It was a let (because that was the correct call; because thats what I would have called; because of the game state at the time and because Khalifa had persistently questioned Farag's pick ups despite him always calling his own down when they were. Still a terrific game.
I think it was a let when Khalifa made the move to hit the ball the ball was behind him, he could never have volleyed that ball and make the winner. The only way he could played that ball was after hitting the wall and he wasn't hitting a winner in that case. I think he could even play the ball after the wall because Farag was no more in his way. It could even be a no let for some refrees.
@@GregBorn not a clear stroke at all
Great match. super fun to watch. And the refereeing was spot on. Thanks for posting Greg.
very intense game the guy in white needs to work on positioning to avoid those strokes
And now Ali farag the white guy is world no.1
Very nice game. It seems that white wear man is better, but winner is red wear man.
well the white wear man is currently world number 1 haha
And current world champion!
Ali farag the best player of squash in the world
Red wear man is now a financial softwear man.
@@fleurafricaine5740 Is he so? Thanks for your comment.
Amazing College Squash Players!!
These guys are awesome
Thank you for sharing these matches!
Don't feel like that last point was justified. He tried to play the shot.
Love it! Peter and Jim, please have the rematch at Bates anytime!
these guys r ass. they play like their 50 year old club players
that was crap why is he so pumped up
Kush! My old coach! Hope you continue to Rock the Squash world. If you are ever in Santa Barbara look me up. Savya (Scott McGregor)
Yes, Eben is Galen's older brother. Now a big star at Pomona.
that was a great goal by eben. i was the defender on the post that he scored on. he was prob the best all around player in the smaa that year. a great defender and always a threat up top
